Planned Giving Recognition Societies
The South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation created the Legacy Society and the Leadership Society as an added way to say
"Thank You for Caring" to the many generous families and friends of the Farmers Union who choose to remember
the South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation in their charitable giving plans.
SDFU Foundation Legacy Society
The South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation Legacy Society recognizes donors who make gifts of real property, i.e. farm land, farm machinery or other farm assets, or other real property that is an outright gift or in a deferred, life-income gift arrangement. A recognition site to honor Legacy Society members will be erected on the property of the South Dakota Farmers Union property in Huron, SD.
SDFU Foundation Leadership Society
The South Dakota Farmers Union Leadership Society is a distinguished group of family and friends of the South Dakota Farmers Union who make a commitment to the future support of the SDFU Foundation and its education programs through planned or deferred giving to the Foundation. This provides an opportunity for the SDFU Foundation to recognize these donors during their lifetimes. A "Wall of Recognition" will display the donors' names at the South Dakota Farmers Union home office in Huron, SD.
