Annual Campaign
Each year, the South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation helps support the education programs of the Farmers Union. The mission of the SDFU Foundation is to support programs and advance efforts that further the economic prosperity and cultural vitality in rural South Dakota. Your generous donation may be used as an unreserved donation towards the general development of the Foundation, or you may designate your donation to a variety of programs. Below are the key education programs of the SDFU Foundation. A direct mail form is sent annually to Foundation supporters and Farmers Union members and affiliates,as well as solicitation through our website. The annual South Dakota Farmers Union Fundraiser, 'A Night on the Prairie', is held each year in February as the finale to the SD Farmers Union annual convention. 'A Night on the Prairie' fundraiser is the South Dakota Farmers Union Foundation's signature fundraising event. This evening is filled with excitement as games and chances to win great prizes precede the dynamic silent and live auction bidding for fabulous items. Come and join in the fun - all proceeds are dedicated to funding the growing and very successful education programs of the SDFU Foundation. Our young people are the future of this wonderful state and through our education programs, these dynamic individuals are growing in their leadership skills, expanding in community involvement, and gaining in their personal goals. We are so very proud to be a part of their achievements! Please participate in this exciting event as a part of your annual contribution desires.
